People asked Hazrat'e Sayyiduna Isa for a way or a deed that would enable them to go to Heaven. He replied, "Never ever speak". They replied that this would not be possible. So he said, “speak only about good things and nothing else."
That unlucky individual, who has a habit of butting into other people's conversation will never be able to understand what some one else is trying to say. An individual who has a habit of speaking a lot (Allah (az'zawajal) forbid) is always under the danger of saying something forbidden (something which is against Islam) and in doing so (without realising) loses his gift of Iman, and becomes a non-believer. Hujja-tul-Islam Imam Muhammad Ghazali has quoted the saying of certain saints, in Ehya-ul-Uloom, that: "An individual who remains silent has two advantages:
1- His faith in Allah (az'zawajal) remains alive
2- He understands what others tell him.
